For those who've tried everything and still can't shake chronic pain...
You know your pain is real. You've been to doctors, done the PT, and tried the medications. Maybe you've gotten temporary relief, but nothing lasts. Your MRI shows "some arthritis" or "mild degeneration." But that doesn't explain why your symptoms are so intense.
Meanwhile, you're missing out on life. The hiking trip you had to cancel. The activities you've stopped doing. The moments with your family when you're too uncomfortable to be fully present.
Here's what most doctors won't tell you: When pain becomes chronic, it's almost always because your nervous system has learned a protective pattern and gotten stuck there. Your brain is creating pain as a danger signal, even when there's no actual damage that needs protecting.
This isn't about positive thinking or "it's all in your head." It's neuroscience. And it means your pain can change.
I know this because I lived it. I spent nearly 10 years with chronic migraines and over a year with debilitating body-wide pain. I tried everything—medications, specialists, alternative therapies. Nothing worked until I understood what was actually happening: my nervous system was stuck in danger mode.
Once I learned how to retrain it, everything changed.
But my recovery was messy. I cobbled together information from multiple sources, made mistakes, and took longer than I needed to. I created Retraining Chronic Pain so you don't have to figure this out alone.
This isn't another pain management program. I’m not teaching you to cope with symptoms. Instead, we’re addressing why they persist in the first place. You'll learn the neuroscience, practice evidence-based techniques, and create a personalized plan to get back to the life you've been missing.
Over 5 weeks, you'll:
-
Understand why your pain persists (and why it's not about structural damage).
-
Learn specific practices to retrain your nervous system.
-
Reclaim movements and activities you've been avoiding.
-
Build a sustainable recovery plan that lasts beyond this program.
If you're exhausted from trying treatments that only provide temporary relief, and you're ready to address the root cause, this program is for you.
Your pain has been loud enough. It's time to give your nervous system a different message.
I hope you'll join me.
With Gratitude,

Rob Lieblein
“In the final analysis, it was learning to orient myself to sensations of discomfort in a new way, in a curious way, that freed me from chronic pain. I am grateful for Rob’s wisdom that has guided me back to a pain-free life.”
- Joey M., Denver CO
Your Nervous System Got Stuck.
Here's What That Means.
When pain first started, your brain did exactly what it's designed to do: it created a danger signal to protect you.
But when pain becomes chronic, your nervous system often gets stuck in that protective mode long after any original injury has healed. It's like a smoke detector that keeps going off after the fire's been put out.

And sometimes there's no injury at all. The alarm just starts sounding on its own.
This is called neuroplastic pain, and it's not a character flaw or a sign that you're broken. It's a pattern your brain learned. But what the brain has learned, it can unlearn.
A Different Approach to Chronic Pain
Retraining Chronic Pain steps outside the traditional chronic pain paths and offers a "third way."
Traditional Path 1
Physical treatments that assume pain equals damage (and keep disappointing you when the relief doesn't last).
Traditional Path 2
Pain management programs that teach you to 'cope' with symptoms (which feels like resigning yourself to a limited life).
The New, 3rd Path
Retraining Chronic Pain
Teaching your nervous system that you're safe, so your brain can finally turn down the danger signals.

This approach is grounded in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), which was studied in a breakthrough pain study at the University of Colorado.
The results: 66% of participants had clinically significant pain reduction compared to just 20% in the placebo group.
But here's what the research doesn't capture: what it feels like to trust your body again. To plan a trip without fear. To move freely without calculating the cost.
That's what this program is really about. Not just pain reduction, but reclaiming your life.
“I worked with Rob over the course of 2 months. Over this time I have had a huge shift in my mindset. I found myself immersed in health anxiety, constantly feeling like there must be something wrong with me, which manifested as a continuous cough and back pain. We worked on understanding TMS and different methods to help with this. I have completely let go of this belief to the point I can't remember what it feels like to have that belief. I have learned how to cope better with stressful situations and show compassion to myself and others. My cough has almost completely subsided and I am aware of triggers. If back pain arises, it usually goes within a day, whereas before it would be weeks.”

Life Changes When Your Nervous System Knows It's Safe.

Imagine waking up and your first thought isn't about assessing your pain level.
Imagine saying yes to the hiking trip, the weekend away, or playing with your kids. All without that oppressive thought of "can my body handle this?"
Over 5 weeks, you'll move from confusion and frustration to clarity and confidence.
You'll understand why your pain has persisted despite everything you've tried.
You'll learn specific, evidence-based practices to retrain your nervous system.
And you'll start reclaiming the activities and the identity you've been missing.
Most importantly: You'll learn that your pain isn't a life sentence. It's a pattern your brain learned, and patterns can change.
You won't just learn about pain neuroscience, you'll apply it. And you'll feel the difference in your body when your nervous system finally gets the message that it's safe.

About Rob
I recovered from over a year of debilitating, body-wide pain and symptoms through a hit-or-miss combination of books, videos, podcasts, and other resources focused on mind-body approaches for neuroplastic symptoms.
That experience inspired me to help others find their way out of pain and back to life, without all the guesswork and overwhelm that I encountered.
I hold certifications as a Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) Practitioner, Mindbody Syndrome Practitioner, and Holistic Life Coach.
Additionally, I offer something you won’t find in most practitioners in this field: over 20 years of experience teaching mindfulness meditation and leading group dynamics and team-building programs for educators and other professionals.
That background enables me to offer clients a specific skill set, including the ability to create a group environment where people feel safe enough to slow down, look inward, and honestly explore their experiences.
Those qualities mean a lot in a program that asks you to sit with sensation, examine fear-based patterns, and reflect on your relationship with pain.
